CANDA was founded in 1990 by Louis, an electrical engineer with a clear goal: to bring genuine value, technical knowledge and reliability to the Australian IT industry.

The business began with a strong focus on hardware, supplying quality technology to organisations that needed dependable products, practical advice and competitive pricing. Throughout the 1990s, CANDA grew into one of Australia’s leading HP printer distributors and worked with major hardware retailers, including businesses that remain some of the largest in Australia today.

By 1999, CANDA had sold more than $20 million in hardware, building a reputation for reliability, product knowledge and long-term customer relationships.

As our customers grew, their needs changed. They wanted more than hardware supply. They needed technical support, service, advice and a trusted team that understood their business systems. In the mid-2000s, CANDA expanded further into IT services, support and managed technology solutions.
